Van Gogh Suite

Vincent van Gogh had great admiration for Japanese printmaking and this spectacular exhibition unravels how he has put the Japanese examples into his own hands and how this inspired Van Gogh’s work. The suites are bookable from 23 March until 24 June 2018 and will grant you direct access to the exhibition, and the possibility to continue this experience in the surroundings of your hotel suite.

Van Gogh Afternoon Tea

Executive Chef Schilo van Coevorden was just like Van Gogh triggered by the exotic colours, flavours and textures of Japan. In honour of the Van Gogh & Japan exhibition in the neighbouring Van Gogh Museum, Conservatorium launches the Van Gogh Afternoon Tea from 23 March.

Van Gogh & Japan

Van Gogh created his own image of Japan by studying and reading about Japanese art, collecting and copying prints, and discussing their aesthetic qualities with other artists. His encounter with Japanese prints helped him to give his work a new direction. Read on to find out what are the hottest art shows this Spring.
