Can I park my car at the Conservatorium?

If you are arriving in your own car, please use our Paulus Potter entrance located at Paulus Potterstraat 50. If your navigation system can’t find number 50, please enter number 44 instead; you will find the entrance immediately.

The hotel has limited parking space on site, so please mind that valet parking may use an external parking garage to park your car. We advise you to remove valuable items from your car when parking outside the hotel. Valet parking is subject to charge. Charges are hourly for short stays with a maximum of €65,- per 24 hours.

How do I get to Conservatorium from the train station?

If you are arriving in Amsterdam by Thalys, leave the train at Schiphol Airport and follow the directions below. If you are arriving with the ICE train, please follow the directions from Central Station. Taxis are also available at the Central Station. A taxi ride to the hotel should cost about €25,- and take around 30 minutes. When leaving the hotel towards Central Station to catch your train upon departure, we recommend to leave 45 minutes in advance. Please only use official taxis.

How do I arrange a car pick-up from the airport?

The Conservatorium car service includes a welcome in the arrival hall of Schiphol Airport. Charges start at €115,- To arrange this, please email us or call us on +31 (0) 20 570 0060 to contact our Host desk.


How much is a taxi from the airport to the hotel?

There are good quality taxi services at the Airport. Expect a fare of €40,- to €50,-. There may be a wait at peak hours. Please do not take taxis offered to you in the arrival hall. The official taxi stand is located outside the main hall and is well signed. Transfer time is about 30 minutes. Please ask the taxi to drop you off at the Paulus Potterstraat 50 entrance.

How can I get to the hotel with public transport?

Bus number 397 leaves the Airport next to the taxi stand and stops at the Museum square (Museumplein), a three- minute walk to the hotel. Tickets are about €5,- and sold by the driver. Please make sure you can pay with cash. Transfer time is approximately 40 minutes.


What is your children policy?

A baby-cot can be placed in all room types starting from the Deluxe Guest Room. Children 0-12 years old stay complimentary in the room with parents.

In all our suites starting from the Junior Suite we can prepare a sofa bed for a third adult in the room.

A supplement of €100,- per night applies for the third person.

Children between 0-3 can make use of our breakfast free of charge, Children from 4-12 can make use of our breakfast with a discount of 50%, children from 13 years old can make use of our breakfast for the standard rate.

Junior hotel visitors from the age of 3 to 16 are welcome to enjoy the swimming pool from Monday to Sunday between 10.00 to 11.30 hours and 14.00 to 15.30 hours under the guidance of an adult.

What are your room connection options?

Our connecting rooms have one door accessing from the main corridor in front of the two individual hotel room doors. When the rooms are used as connecting, this shared door leading onto the corridor will be kept closed and both individual room doors will be opened. This creates a private combined entrance hall which makes both rooms connect with each other. A selection of Guestrooms and Suites are available as connecting rooms including room types Deluxe Guestroom, Deluxe Duplex Guestroom and Junior Suites.

Our connecting Conservatorium Suites have one door from the main corridor which can be closed when the Suites are used as connecting. When closed, a combined entrance hall is created with a staircase leading up to one suite and another staircase leading down to the other suite. This combined staircase makes both Suites to connect with each other.

The Concerto Suite allows the rare sense of being in a fully-kitted two-bedroom home from home in the heart of a luxury hotel. Minimalist yet charismatic, it’s the perfect versatile pied-à-terre for long-term stays. The double suite lets you entertain in this private perch overlooking Stedelijk Museum and the master bedroom in the duplex overlooks the hotel's courtyard. This sanctuary is as suited to soothing wellbeing escapes as being a base for hard-working hedonists. 

Are pets allowed in the rooms?

Small pets only are allowed (max. 4kg / 20cm – head height) for suite guests only. An extra room cleaning charge of €75.00 per night will be added to the guest account. For the full terms and conditions please inform with our reservations department.

What time breakfast is served?

Breakfast is served from 06:30 till 11:00 hours in the Brasserie. The breakfast consists of a selection of the buffet and one item à la carte. Please be advised that the Brasserie is a public area of which other guests may make use of as well.

What time is check-in and checkout?

The room will be available from 3PM, on the day of arrival. If arriving any earlier we will do our utmost to accommodate, however, you will appreciate that, during busy periods, access before 3PM cannot be guaranteed. Our check-out time is 12 noon on the day of departure.

What are the opening times of the spa Akasha?

Members, hotel guests and day guests are welcome every day of the week from 06.30 to 22.00 hours.

Non hotel guests booking a treatment:
From Monday to Friday, access to all the Akasha facilities is free of charge when booking a body treatment with a minimum of 50 minutes. On Saturday and Sunday, access to Akasha facilities is only available as a supplement to two treatments (with a minimum of 50-minute treatment) for an additional fee of €50. 

Junior hotel guests:
Junior hotel visitors from the age of 3 to 16 are welcome to enjoy the swimming pool from Monday to Sunday between 10.00 to 11.30 hours and 14.00 to 15.30 hours under the guidance of an adult.
