Our Taiko Summer Edition terrace is open and reservations can be made for each day of the week between 12 noon and 6.00 p.m. Maximum of two people allowed per table, unless one household. From Wednesday 19th May onwards, reservations on the terrace are expected to be allowed between 12 noon and 8 p.m. We absolutely cannot wait to see you!

Additionally, our Conservatorium Counter with a special take away menu is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner to enjoy in your room or suite. Due to Dutch government instructions the Brasserie & Lounge and Taiko Cuisine & Bar remain temporarily closed.

To celebrate the warm days, Taiko would like to welcome you to its Summer Edition on the terrace of the Brasserie this summer season!

Chef Schilo van Coevorden and his culinary team created an explosive yet delicate summer menu combing the best of both worlds. Enjoy delicious signature dishes from Taiko Dubai and the Conservatorium Brasserie like Wagyu shoarma, edamame hummus with a crispy miso pappadum or lamb kofte gyoza with pickled raisins. Furthermore, we have Taiko’s sushi-counter set-up for you where our sushi-chef is preparing Watermelon Sashimi, Crispy King Prawn Dragon Roll and all your favourite Taiko sushi classics on the spot. All dishes can be paired with matching wines, sake or summer cocktails from Taiko Bar.

Taiko's Curious Curries
Curries have always been an essential part of the Taiko experience, and because of the many requests from our regular guests, these curries are now available for Taiko at Home delivery or for pick-up at the Conservatorium hotel. Enjoy the delicious St. Mary's Bay Lobster Makhani Curry, the Soy Braised Wagyu Beef Green Curry and the Sea Bass Yellow Curry and others, all served with risottini, naan bread or pappadum, pickles and mango chutney. Pick-up
- Daily: pick-up time from 5.00 – 8.45 p.m. at the Conservatorium hotel. Last orders at 8.00 p.m.
- Orders can be picked-up warm or cold with instructions to heat-up at home.

Delivery
- Daily: delivery in between 3.30 – 6.30 p.m., orders need to be in before 6.00 p.m. the day before delivery.
- Order via Thuis uit eten, dishes will be delivered with instructions to heat-up at home.

Contemporary Asian Cuisine

Named after ancient Japanese drums said to beat with a mythic rhythm, it is chef Schilo Van Coevorden’s Asian-inspired restaurant situated within the hotel. With a live Taiko player beating harmonious rhythms on Saturdays, Schilo’s explosive yet delicate Asian flavours are matched with a beautiful backdrop.

Every October on Taiko New Year, Taiko Cuisine celebrates its birthday. Here our new 'ingredient of the year' is revealed and our brand new Omakase menu is launched. After the great exposion for Hida Wagyu, wasabi, Kingcrab and soy, this year it is the turn of the Hiramasa Kingfish to take the centre stage in the much acclaimed Asian kitchen of Chef Schilo van Coevorden.

What first started as a playful flirt between kitchen and bar, inspired by a shared love and passion for Asia, has now grown into a new phenomenon within the last five years: Taiko Bar. With excellent service from some of Amsterdam’s best bartenders, supreme bites from Taiko Cuisine and a cocktail menu that makes you feel like you’re in a speakeasy in Roppongi, Taiko Bar translates the sophisticated nightlife of global cities such as Bangkok, Tokyo and Shanghai into the intimate, cosy setting of an Amsterdam neighbourhood pub.
