THE CONSERVATORIUM PROVIDES SOME OF AMSTERDAM'S BEST FOOD AND DRINK EXPERIENCES
Our secret ingredients? The chefs who select them
Hotel restaurants in Amsterdam are epitomised at the Conservatorium, where the chefs at Taiko are constantly searching for the finest Hida beef, the only true wasabi grown in Europe, and vintages offered nowhere else. Their sake sommelier even trains new ones – the only person in The Netherlands certified to do so. In a hotel this focused on food and drink, there's no such thing as a humble ingredient. At the Brasserie, the cooks aren't just attuned to the right season for each fruit or vegetable, but the specific weeks when they’re at their peak. That is our true secret ingredient: The award-winning culinary team behind each Brasserie recipe, Taiko menu and Taiko bar cocktails.
Celebrate the festive season at the Conservatorium Hotel
With sparkles everywhere, the Conservatorium hotel is the perfect place for a festive experience together with your loved ones. Walk through the corridors filled with festive lights, listen to music that brightens up your spirit and enjoy delicious flavours in our restaurants. Let us bring you festive treats for all the senses.
Taiko is Schilo van Coevorden's leading award-winning Asian-inspired eatery and one of the finest hotel restaurants in Amsterdam. A chef at the height of his creativity. Schilo is not content simply to seduce. Beauty, flavour, aroma and texture are the instruments he uses to enchant every sense.
The Conservatorium Brasserie is located in a beautiful internal glass courtyard which has spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows. Our Brasserie offers contemporary breakfast and lunch.
What first started as a playful flirt between kitchen and bar, inspired by a shared love and passion for Asia, has now grown into a new phenomenon within the last five years: Taiko Bar. With excellent service from some of Amsterdam’s best bartenders, supreme bites from Taiko Cuisine and a cocktail menu that makes you feel like you’re in a speakeasy in Roppongi, Taiko Bar translates the sophisticated nightlife of global cities such as Bangkok, Tokyo and Shanghai into the intimate, cosy setting of an Amsterdam neighbourhood pub.
In-room dining brings to the privacy of a guest’s suite the same high levels of service and culinary experience as found in the hotel’s restaurants and bar.
The Lounge, known at home and abroad as ‘Amsterdam’s Living Room’ is located in the hotel’s central atrium. Flooded with natural daylight beaming down from the glass ceiling and through the floor to-ceiling windows, the plush sofas and coffee tables provide a sophisticated sanctuary for a relaxing break.
