Akasha Summit

Akasha Holistic Wellbeing introduces the ‘Akasha Summit’ at the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam

On Saturday 28 March 2020, Akasha Holistic Wellbeing organizes the Akasha Summit with the theme ‘a modern vision on wellbeing’.

In this fast-moving world with plenty of challenges, it is important to tap in to your full potential by minimizing the impact of stress on body and mind. The summit will provide you with a skillset of four different tools that will help you to reach your full potential in life.

From understanding how your heart can function as a compass through daily life and how breathwork can support this, to learning how you can improve the functions of your brain and how the family system can help you to gain control over your quality of life.

The Akasha Summit is an intimate, annual event where Akasha brings together a variation of (inter)national experts on the functioning of the brain, energy, the family system and the lessons you can learn from your heart. After this day, you will go home with a new perspective on achieving a state of wellbeing in this challenging time and a skillset of different tools to work with.

Juno Burger | Energy Therapist

Topic: What can you learn from the wisdom in your heart and how can your heart function as an energetic compass through daily life?

Juno’s life motto ‘Let It Be’ refers directly to the paradox of the compassionate heart. What happens if you consciously end any story and fully live with what presents in each moment? As a young child Juno was already aware of subtle energies. In the past 23 years Juno studied and lived a path of awareness and compassion. He specializes in the dynamics of the energetic interaction between people and spaces.  In this talk Juno will share the most exciting findings of his lifetime study into the compassionate heart. He will explain why there is no need for energetic protection, what it means to be truly grounded and how your entire system is designed to live with the full spectrum of life without being adversely affected by it.

Daphne Feller | Owner BrainExplainers

Topic: Understand what you can do to unlock your brain's full potential.

Daphne Feller is the founder of her company ‘BrainExplainers’. During her Executive MBA study she realized how important knowledge of brain science is; it can help individuals and organizations to improve mental well-being and leadership. She believes understanding how the brain works and having insights in human behaviour will support the optimization of mental well-being and leadership. By bringing a more concrete, science-based approach to growing soft skills will not just resonate with business leaders but it also makes any change initiative more effective. Daphne received a certificate of ‘Basics of Neuro Economics’, obtained an Executive MBA degree and is partnering with the ‘Neuro Leadership Institute’. During this talk we will look into ‘How to train and rewire your brain to reach your full potential’. You have the power to do things so beyond what you can even imagine right now. But in this everyday life, your brain must continually fight off an overkill of stimulus. Dealing with all these distractions: how do you improve the functions of your brain?

Els van Steijn | Family System Expert

Topic: Which insights from the family system can help you live to your fullest potential?

Els van Steijn is (team) coach, family- & organisation expert and author of the book ‘The fountain, find your place’. She is specialised in the systemic perspective: recognising the enormous web that connects all the people and events within a (family) system and how these affect the past, present and future. For her clients, the metaphor of the ‘The fountain’ is an eye-opener and the missing piece of the puzzle needed to effectively take the next step in life. If you learn to find your proper place in the fountain, you’ll find peace of mind and be able to allow things to go well for you. You let go of what belongs to the other person and face what is yours. In doing so, you set boundaries, remain connected and take responsibility for your life. You say yes to what is there (the good and the bad) and will open up to experience your own primary emotions. The fountain can give you access to a positive spiral and helps you improve your relationship with yourself and with those around you. You will experience a greater sense of calm and gain control over your quality of life.
